meditation is being with the inner-self. Pleasure takes you away from the inner-self toward the objective world that gives pleasure. you have to stay in the outer world being with the inner-self. Even wanting to do something comes with pure consiousness felt when you are with your inner-self. You can truly focus on your life dreams being with your spirit. Don’t take it in an extreme way, pleasure is also important and for a purpose and many a times it is a necessary. So even that should be done in such a way that it benefits you rather than to harm you.
